Usage Guidelines Use this command to change the protocol for a redundancy group that has previously been assigned a
protocol with the addmgcgrpprotocol command.
Examples The following example shows that redundancy group number 7 is assigned the SRCP 1.0.2 protocol, and
quarantines persistent events with the loop, process handling meth od. Al l o ptio nal argumen ts are
enabled.

resp-ack (Optional ) Enab l es or di sab les se ndin g a respo nse ac knowledgmen t. I t can be
one of the following values:
1 = On (Default for MGCP 1.0)
2 = Off (Default for MGCP 0.1, SGCP 1.1+, SRCP 1.0.2, and SGCP 1.5)
disc-proc-enable (Optional) Enables or disables the disconnect method , which indicates that the
endpoint has become disconnected and is now trying to establish conne ctivity.
It can be one of the following values:
1 = On (Default for MGCP 1.0)
2 = Off (Default for MGCP 0.1, SGCP 1.1+, SRCP 1.0.2, and SGCP 1.5)
cancel-grace (Optional) Enables or disables VISM cancelling a previously issued graceful
restart command. It can be one of the following values:
1 = On (Default for MGCP 1.0)
2 = Off (Default for MGCP 0.1, SGCP 1.1+, SRCP 1.0.2, and SGCP 1.5)
Command Description
addmgcgrpprotocol Associates a call agent redundancy group to a gateway control protoco l.
cnfdisctimers Specifies the wait delay times for the disconnected procedure, restart in
progress command—initial, minimum, and maximum timer values.
cnfxgcppeer Configures the UDP port number used to send gateway-initiated messages to
the call agent.
delmgcgrpprotocol Deletes an MGCP from a specified call agent redundan cy group .
dspdisctimers Displays the Restart in Progress command disconnect type method wait delay
times.
