Global Configuration Mode Command Set

 

 

logging email on

Use the logging email on command to enable the Secure Router OS email event notification feature. Use the logging email address-listcommand to specify email address(es) that will receive notification when an event matching the criteria configured using the logging email priority-levelcommand is logged by the Secure Router OS. See logging email priority-level [error fatal info notice warning] on page 315 and logging email priority-level [error fatal info notice warning] on page 315 for more information. Use the no form of this command to disable the email notification feature.

Syntax Description

No subcommands.

Default Values

By default, email event notification is disabled.

Functional Notes

The domain name is appended to the sender name when sending event notifications. See the command ip domain-name <name> on page 269 for related information.

Usage Examples

The following example enables the Secure Router OS email event notification feature:

(config)#logging email on
