Global Configuration Mode Command Set

 

 

spanning-tree forward-time <seconds>

Use the spanning-treeforward-timecommand to specify the delay interval (in seconds) when forwarding spanning-tree packets. Use the no form of this command to return to the default interval.

Syntax Description

<seconds>Forward delay interval in seconds (Range: 4 to 30).

Default Values

<seconds>15 seconds

Command Modes

(config)#

Global Configuration Mode required

Usage Examples

The following example sets the forwarding time to 15 seconds: (config)#spanning-treeforward-time 15
