Global Configuration Mode Command Set

 

 

logging email receiver-ip <ip address>

Use the logging email receiver-ipcommand to specify the IP address of the email server to use when sending notification that an event matched the criteria configured using the logging email priority-levelcommand. See logging email priority-level [error fatal info notice warning] on page 315 for related information. Use the no form of this command to remove a configured address.

Syntax Description

<ip address>

Specifies the IP address (in dotted decimal notation) of the mail server to use

 

when sending logged messages.

Default Values

By default, there are no configured email server addresses.

Usage Examples

The following example specifies an email server (with address 172.5.67.99) to use when sending logged messages:

(config)#logging email receiver-ip 172.5.67.99
