Line (Telnet) Interface Config Command Set

line-timeout <minutes>

Use the line-timeoutcommand to specify the number of minutes a line session may remain inactive before the Secure Router OS terminates the session. Use the no form of this command to return to the default value.

Syntax Description

<minutes>

Specifies the number of minutes a line session may remain inactive before the

 

Secure Router OS terminates the session.

 

Entering a line-timeoutvalue of 0 disables the feature.

Default Values

<minutes>

15 minutes (Console and Telnet)

Usage Examples

The following example specifies a timeout of 2 minutes:

(config)#line telnet 0 (config-telnet0)#line-timeout 2
