PPP Interface Configuration Command Set

 

 

pppoe ac-name <name>

Use the pppoe ac-namecommand to identify the Access Concentrator (AC) with which the Secure Router OS expects to establish a PPPoE session. Use the no form of this command to return to the default setting.

Syntax Description

<name>

Enter a text string (up to 255 characters) corresponding to the AC-Name Tag

 

under RFC 2516. If this field is not specified, any access concentrator is

 

acceptable. The AC value may be a combination of trademark, model, and serial

 

ID information (or simply the MAC address of the unit).

Default Values

By default, no AC is specified.

Usage Examples

The following example identifies the AC with which the Secure Router OS expects to establish a PPPoE session:

(config)#interface ppp 1

(config-ppp 1)#pppoe acc-name Access_Concentrator_Name
