User Response: Ensurethat there is sufficient space for the Windows NT paging
file. Click on the system icon in the WindowsNT control panel and then click on
the virtual memory button. Refer to the on-line help for instructions on how to
increase the amount of virtual memory.
ANR8242W (AIX)Unable to create thread to monitor sessions on LU LU name.
Explanation: The server cannot initialize due to the inability to create a new
thread of execution to monitor the indicated LU name.
SystemAction: Server operation continues, butAPPC communications are not
established for the indicated LU name. Other LU names remain unaffected.
User Response: Themost likely cause is a lack of memory. The system process
table may also be full. Ensure that sufficient paging space is available forAIX. You
may also use SMIT to determine if the number of applications is causing a memory
shortage. Youmay also decrease the maximum number of sessions that the server
can accept with the MAXSESSIONS option in the server options file.
ANR8242W (Windows NT)
Unable to initialize IPX/SPX driver - error creatingacceptor socket.
Explanation: The server is unable to communicate by way of IPX/SPX. IPX/SPX
has rejected a request for a socket on which the server listens.
