MET-LINE (MET Line)
Electronic Station is the user-friendly term to d enote the MET (Multibutton
Electronic Telephone) Station Set. The MET sets were originally introduced for
use in earlier PBX systems but can now be used in Generic 1 switches.
The TN735 MET Line circuit pack supports four o f these METsets. Each MET set
uses three pairs of wires: an analog voic e pair, a transmit pair, and a rec eive pair.
Power is sent over the transmit and receive pairs . The MET Line circuit pack
supports all 10-, 20-, and 30-button sets.
