Drop Reason
(cont’d)
“Pre-AnsDrop” = The call d isconnects before an end point answers. The
network, an endpoint, or a terminal ad apter may cause the disc onnect.
This drop reason differs from ‘No-answer,’ wh ich indicates that a
60-second timeout occ urs during alerting. In this case, the call drops
before the 60-second tim er expires. Some busy endpoints c onnected
through terminal adapte rs display this behavior.
“Resource” = MCU c annot provide resourc es (VC or MMI) when the call
arrives or loses the resources du ring the call. This can occ ur when they
are Out of Service, busied out b y craft, or in use by system
maintenance. This drop reason c an also occur if the DS1/MMI cable
disconnects. If a resour ce problem exists when the c all arrives, it gets a
reorder (fast busy) and the MCU does not disconnected it.
“Password” =The user entered a wrong password or the aud io add-on
user did not enter it within the specified time period. The audio add-on
user has one attempt to enter a correc t password and has ab out 10
seconds between d igits (inter-digit timing ).
“System” = MCU restarts (level 2) disconnect all calls.
“UIN-Inv” The user enters an invalid User Id entification Number.
“Unknown” = The system c annot determine the disconnec t cause.
“Wrong Num” The MCPTR resources SDN cause value detects an
incorrectly-dialed destination number. See “Dial-out” for details.
“UCC” = The controller inte ntionally disconnects the end point.
AC Num Administered Connection Number. (1–128) AC numbers further
diagnose prob lems by combining status conference information with the
status administered connection command, and data stored in error
and alarm logs.
Ports Trunk The data endpoint used b y the channel.
Ports Video The MMI port for the channel.
Ports Aud If the endpoint type is not “UCC,” the VC audio encod er port (which is
always paired to a dec oder port) for the channel (onl y the first channel).
appears together with the ESM data p ort in the endpoint’s channel 1
port slot position of the Port Aud/ESM column. For “UCC” endpoints,
channel 1 port slot po sitions display allocated Call Classifier resources.
Ports ESM Expansion Service Module MMI data p ort. This field defaults to blank.
Sum Grp Endpoint’s assigned summer group number. The summer group port
assignments are on screen 1.
