Status bri-port interpretation
Table 2-3 provides information on the status bri-port form.
Endpt SPID This field displays the SPID administered on the voice/data
endpoint associated with the link. Note that this information is
displayed only if the l ink is in either the “established
(point-to-point config uration) or the “13-established ” (multipoint
configuration) layer 2 state. Otherwise th is field is blank.
Service SPID Indicates if the link is associated with the Service SPID. If the link
is associated with Service Spud s, the field contains a “y es” and
the endpoint extension field is blank; otherwise, this field is bl ank.
Service SPID checks building wiring between the switch and the
BRI endpoint.

supporting MI M initialization.
NOTE:
A MIM is a level-3 message
that conveys management
and maintenance information
between communications
systems and BRI terminals.
