verify that the data extension of the printer d evice is in the in-service/i dle
state. If the data extension is not availabl e, then refer to the ‘‘Procedures
for Restoring the PMS Printer Link’’ section for resolution.
d. Link idle timer; link comes d own. This error indicates that the printer
device is in an off-line state, for examp le, paper jam or p aper out for a
printer device. Chec k the printer device and act promptly to p ut it back to
on-line state. Enter test journal wakeup-log|pms-log command to set up
the printer link.

Link Tear Down Test (#213)
This test is destructive.
This test disconnects the existing link between the system and th e external
printer device. If the link has b een disconnec ted already, this test just returns
PASS. All resources allocated for a PMS Printer Link are released after this test.
