Drop Reason
(cont’d)
“Pre-AnsDrop” = The c all disconnects an end point answers. The
network, an endpoint, or a terminal adap ter may cause the disconne ct.
This drop reason differs from ‘No-answer,’ whi ch indicates that a
60-second timeout occ urs during alerting . In this case, the call drop s
before the 60-second timer ex pires. Some busy endpoints that are
connected throug h terminal adapters dis play this behavior.
“Resource” = MCU c annot provide resourc es (VC or MMI) when calls
arrive or lose their resources during the call. Calls can lose resources
when they are Out of Service, busied out b y craft, or in use by system
maintenance. If the DS1/MMI cable is d isconnected, this d rop reason
can also occur. If a resour ce problem exists when the c all arrives, it
gets reorder (fast busy) and is not disconnected by the MCU.
“Password” = The user enters a wrong password or the aud io add-on
user does not enter it within the spec ified time period. The aud io
add-on user gets one attemp t to enter a correct pa ssword and has
about 10 seconds b etween digits (inter-d igit timing).
“System” = MCU restarts (level 2) disconnect all c alls.
“UIN-Inv” = Users ent er invalid User Identificati on Numbers.
“Unknown” = The system c annot determine the disconnec t cause.
“Wrong-num” = The MCU CPTR resources SDN cause values detect an
incorrectly-dialed destination number. See “Dial-out ” for details.
“UCC” = The controlle r intentionally disconnects t he endpoint.
Drop Code A detail code c omplementing the Drop Reason. Ad ditional
bonding-related information is available from the supp lementary
BONDing Drop Codes d escribed ab ove.
AC Num Administered Connection Nu mbers. (1–128) AC numbers can further
diagnose prob lems by combining status conference information with
the status administered connection command, and data stored in the
error and alarm logs.
Ports Trunk The data endpoint that the chan nel is using.
Ports Video The MMI port for the channel.
Ports Aud If the endpoint type is not “ UCC,” the VC audio encoder p ort (which is
always paired to a dec oder port) for the chann el (only the first channel).
appears together with the ESM data p ort in the endpoint’s cha nnel 1
port slot position of the Port Aud/ESM colum n. For “UCC” endpoints,
the channel 1 port slot p osition displays allocated Call Classifier
resources.
Ports ESM Expansion Service Module MMI data port. This field is always blank.
Ports BONDng The MMI port used for channel BONDing .
Fr Err Frame error counter. A circular hex c ounter (0-FF) to indicates framing
error occurrences.
