Field descriptions
status pms-link
This command displays th e status of the property manag ement system interface
link. If the link displays even when a d ata base swap occ urs between the switch
and PMS. If the link is down, the display indic ates the number of times the switch
tried to set up the link.
A property management sys tem (PMS) is a stand-alone computer system whic h
can be integrated with the switch to enhance the servic e capability for a
hotel/motel.

pms-link’’ command.
Output
The following example shows the output from the status p ms-link command.
Location Location: (cabinet-c arrier-circuit pac k)
Service State standby is used in place of in-service for th e standby
packet-interface.

Active links Number of links in use
Failed links Number of failed links (equal s # of total links - # of active links)
