Feature Interactions
The maintenance of a particular c omponent on a link may interfere with the maintenance of the link itself. Maintenanc e can put a link comp onent in a busy state causing link set-up to fa il. Frequent attempts at re-setup of a link may delay the recovery of a faulty compon ent due to the maintenance test of a co mponent only taking place when the component is idle. Therefore, the tec hnician needs to be able to disab le the attempted re-setup of a link. The busyout command is used to do this and c auses the link to be torn down. If the link is already down, the busyout command stops p eriodic re-setup tries on th e link.
