Uploading/Downloading Announcements
Integrated announcements on the TN750 Announcement circuit p ack can be
uploaded to the memory card with the administration ter minal save
announcements command. Likewise, integrated announcements can b e
downloaded to the Announc ement circuit pac k with the restore announcements
command. Both of these com mands require a free data mod ule of NETCON type
to be administered, a d ata module of announcement type (on th e Announcement
circuit pack) to b e administered, and a memory card. These command s are
useful in maintaining the customer’s rec orded announcements. De pending on
system traffic, announcement up loads and/or download s take between 30 and
45 minutes.
The system automatically tries to download the Announcement circuit p ack five
minutes after it is inserted. This automatic d ownload proced ure is aborted if:
1. An announcement is recorded within 10 minutes of circuit p ack insertion.
2. An announcement download i s invoked sooner with the administration
terminal restore announcements command.
3. No announcement and/or NETCON data module is ad ministered.
4. Either the announcement data module is b usy or all the administered
NETCON data modules are busy.
5. No memory card is in the system.
6. The memory card in the system does not have a v alid announcement file
saved on it.
