MET Line Station Audits Test (#61)
This is a series of three tests that are classified as audi ts. These audits abort if
attempted on an out-of-servic e station. The tests are as follows:
■Switc hhook Aud it—Thi s is an upd ate o f the SPE r ecor ds ac co rdin g to t he
circuit p acks’ rec ords.
■Bad Scan Inquiry—A messag e is sent uplink that contains a c ount that is
generated due to c ertain events relating to the link c onditions. This is an
indication of data transmis sion problems between the MET Line circ uit
pack and the voic e terminal.
■EPF Inquiry—The status of the EPF is sent uplink. Possible conditions are:
EPF-on-o k, EPF-of f, EPF-no -loa d, an d EPF-o n-ove rcur rent.
Although this test will never actually retur n a fail result (except for the internal
system error), it is possible that it will enter er ror types 257 (over current) or 513
(open circuit) into the error log . To determine if there are any problems that do not
show up in the test result, look for these error types in the error log . If these errors
appear in the error log or if user complaints still exist, investig ate by using other
circuit pack tes ts and by examining the s tation, the wiring, and the con nections.

BOARD The test could not relate the internal ID to the port (no board). This
could be due to incorrec t translations, no board is inserted, an incorrect
board is inserted, or an insane board is inserted.
1. Check to ensure that the board translations are correct. Use the list
config command, and resolve any problems that are found.
2. If the board was found to be correctly inserted in step 1, issue the
busyout board command.
3. Issue the reset board command.
4. Issue the release busy board command.
5. Issue the test board long command. This should re-establish the
linkage between the internal ID and the port. If this is not the case,
check to ensure that there is a valid board inserted.
