Mode Commands/Communication Modes. This is a collection of incoming and
outgoing band width allocations for the multip lex. The Incoming data is the rate at
which the MCU thinks the endpo int is communicating b ased on the Bit-rate
Allocation Signal (BAS) codes rec eived from the endpoint/c odec and the
capabilities the MCU has d eclared. The Outgoing d ata is the rate from the MCU
toward the endpoint. The following are column definitions for this sec tion of
page3.

The following are field definitions for the Mod e Commands/Communication
Modes section of Page 3.
Next
Broadcaster The endpoint number that is selec ted to be the next broad caster.
Return Vid The endpoint number that is the current return video. The return vid eo
is qualified with the following keywords:
“blank” = VAS, Chair action, UCC action, or endpoint M CV requests
force the previous broad caster to be the return vid eo. The
broadcaster q ualifier identifies the action that for ced this endp oint to
become return video.
“Autoscan” = Auto scan return video, when c onference mode
broadcasts with auto sc an.
“Browse” = The UCC desig nates the return video with the Browse
feature.
“VAS” = A Voice Activated Switching return video.
Next Return
Vid Indicates the endp oint number selected to be the next return video.
CONF The desired conference op erating mode. This may differ from the
endpoint in (EPT-IN) or endpoint out (EPT-OUT) modes.

STAT Conference and incoming mode comp atibility.
“y” = mode compatibil ity
“n” = modes incompatib i lit y.
EPT-IN defines the communication modes coming in from an end point.
EPT-OUT Defines the communication mod es sent to an endpoint b ased on the
number of connected channels and the end point’s capab ilities.
