a. Remove the memory card from the Processor circ uit pack.
b. Replace the Processor circ uit pack. Follow the standard
procedures.
c. Insert the memory card b ack into the slot at the Processor circ uit
pack.
d. Enter the test network-control [long] command to verify the new
circuit pack and the memory card.
5. Once the alarm is resolved, enter the save translat ion command to store
the current system translations to the memory card .
6. If applicab le, enter the save announcements command to store the
current announcements to the memory c ard.
Save Translations Interference
All of the actions used in DEFINITY R8 administration commands are listed in the
table below. The command ac tions that, while active, interfere with daily
maintenance are also indicated . They are the add, change, duplicate, remove,
and set commands. These command s are frequently used by c ustomer
administrators while performin g routine administration of DEFINITY.
