BUS FAULTS Number of faulty bus leads ( defined as shorted to another lead,
stuck at some value, or an open lead : 0 - 24). This field may take on
any integer between 0 and 24. This field displays b lank if:
Maintenance/Test circuit pack not p resent
Packet Bus port of the Maintenance/Test circuit p ack has been
taken out-of-service
System does not have the Packet Bus feature
OPEN BUS
LEADS Number of open bus lead s between the Maintenance /Test circuit
pack and bu s term inato r (0 - 2 4). T his cou l d mean ph ysical damage
to the backplane or its c onnectors or a missing b us terminator. This
field displays blank if:
Maintenance/Test circuit pack is not p resent
System does not have the Packet Bus feature.
EMERGENCY
TRANSFER Location of the Processor or EPN Maintenance circ uit pack
containing the Emergency Transfer Select Switch (1A and 1B)
SELECT SWITCH Emergency Transfer Switch position on the Processo r(s) or the EPN
maintenance circuit p ack and the state of Emerge ncy Transfer in
the cabinet disp lay:
on: Designated analog p hones in this cabinet are c ut through to
CO trunk lines only in an emergency si tuation.
off: Emergency Transfer is off and cannot be invoked . The
switch should only b e in this state when a service techn ician is
on site.
auto-on: The switch is in the or auto position, however,
because of a serious system fault, system software has invoked
Emergency Transfer.
auto-off: Switch in the auto position; bec ause system has no
serious faults, system software has not invoked Emergenc y

<blank> If th e system is Simplex, then the 1B Emergency
Transfer indication for the PPN will display a blank. If the system
does not have an EPN, then both the 1A and 1B Emergenc y
Transfer indications for the EPN will display a blank.
EXP-LINK The Expansion Link does not exist in the system; a da sh (-)
displays.

MODE <blank> Expan sion Interface Link does not exist
