d. The Maintenance/Test Packet Bus port has detected open leads on the
Packet Bus. The Aux Data value indicates the numb er of open leads.
e. Packet circuit pack, p ort, and endpoin t maintenance has been dis abled
due to a Packet Bus failure. The Aux Data value indic ates which sources
have reported errors that have caused maintenance to be disab led. These
sources include the following:
In-line errors from Packet circuit pac ks.
Packet Bus fault report from the Maintenance/Test Packet Bus port.
The Aux Data values that indicate these sourc es are identified in the
following table:
NOTE:
It is important to remember that prob lems reported by Packet c ircuit
packs may be caused by any circuit pack. However, only Packet
circuit pack s can detect suc h problems (inasmuc h as TDM-only
circuit packs are not affected by these p roblems).
f. Packet circuit pack, p ort, and endpoin t maintenance has been disab led
due to more than one circuit p ack reporting in-l ine errors. If this occurs
more than three times in 15 minutes (that is, if maintenance is d isabled
due to errors and then re-enabled because no more errors are rep orted), a
Minor alarm is raised against the Packe t Bus. Note that this error may still
be present in the error log even if the "Circuit Pack Aud it Test" reports that
only one circuit pac k has indicated a p roblem. This occurs if more than
one circuit pack reported errors with in any one minute interval sinc e the
Packet Bus fault occurred.
