Audit information displ ays with one line of data displa yed audit that has detec ted
an error or aborted. Audits tha t did not detec t any errors or aborted do not
display. The output sorts in descend ing order, based on the sum of the values in
the # Cycles Fixed Data, # Cycles Could Not Fix Data, and
# Cycles Audit Aborted fields.
Field descriptions
Start Date Date and time that interval beg ins. “cumulative” = date and time of
the last reboot or execution of the “ clear audits c umulative”
command.
“peak-hour” = date and time of the b eginning of the peak hou r
since the last reboot or exec ution of a “clear aud its cumulative” or
“clear audits p eak-hour” command.
# of Audit Cycles
Completed Number of audit cyc les completed in the specified interval
(0 999999). Asterisks indicate numb ers that exceed 999999. The
switch executes audits i n a set order. After all audits exec ute, the
switch restarts the sequenc e.
NOTE:
Since this field shows the number of completed audit cycles,
it is possible that indi vidual audit values, can b e larger than
the values described below (if the switch is p artially through
another audit cycle). Aud it Cycles numbers d o not apply to
these audits that execute as p art of scheduled ma intenance.
Audit Name Audit’s name that detected an error or aborted. A few aud its do not
run in the normal audit sequenc e. Instead, they execute as p art of
scheduled maintenanc e and are marked with “ (SCH)” following the
audit name.
# Cycles Fixed
Data Number of times that the audit ran, in the sp ecified interval, and
found a fixable prob lem. (0–65534) Asterisks are used form
numbers that exceed 65534.
# Cycles Could
Not Fix Data Number of times that the audit ran, in the sp ecified interval, and
found an unfixable prob lem. The audited switch d ata is
inconsistent when this happ ens. (0–65534) Asterisks are used for
numbers that exceed 65534.
# Cycles Audit
Aborted Number of times that the audit ran, in the sp ecified interval, and
aborted due to an internal er ror. (0–65534) Asterisks are for
numbers that exceed 65534.
First Error Date and time that the audit first d etected fixed d ata, could not fix
data or audit aborted problems sinc e the last clear audits
cumulative command. Example: 03/27/14:31 for 2:31 p m, March
27th. This field appears with the status audits cum ulative display .
