This command upgrad es the software text image, the flash comp onent of the

LMM firmware, the MTP firmware, and the Processor Interface (PI) firmwares. In a

simplex system, the command ve rifies that a software card-mem is present a nd

then, if present, proceed s to reprogram the flash memory and perform a level-4

restart. During the restart of the system, the system tec hnician is prompted to

replace the software card -mem with the translation card-mem. Servic e is

provided up on completion of the system restart. Service d own time is 5-12

minutes.

!WARNING:

Be sure to save translations before this executing this command. It may

also be helpful to read the Feature Interac tions for this command bef ore

upgrading the sy s tem sof tware.

Time (ms) Time from the board to each intermed iate destination in

milliseconds. If an error oc curs at a node, the entry is repe ated

with an error code immed iately following the time. Error codes and

their meanings are:
