FAIL The Manager I channel failed the Loop Back Test. The Manager I is

probably unusab le for administration or maintenance. The EPN

Manager I, if available, or remote ac cess can still be used .

1. Repeat the command at one m inute intervals a maximum of 5

times.

2. If the test continues to fail, repla ce the Processor circuit pac k at

your earliest convenience. Refer to Chap ter 1 “Reliability

Systems: A Maintenance Aid” for information on how to rep lace a

circuit pack in the control carrier.

If the TN786B circuit pack mus t be replaced, and if there is a blank in the Expansion Memory ci rcuit pack slot (that is, in the slot immediately to the right of the TN786B c ircuit pack), remove the blank before removing the c ircuit pack. Otherw ise, the circuit pac k and/or the two connectors that are used to connect the Expansion Memory c ircuit pack (if availab le) might

become damaged.
