Field descriptions
VID Video and frame rate types that the end point supports.
“vfmt” = Does not d isplay if the endpoint has no video capabi lity. All
values are blank if an active c all or audio-only endp oint exists.
Otherwise, values for this field includ e:
FCIF for full CIF
QCIF for quarter CIF. CIF support implies QCIF sup port. For
larger screens, CIF typicall y displays sharper resolution vid eo,
ZCIF is blocked, but may run at higher frame rates with less
clarity. Differences are less observable on v ery small displays.
cfps and qfps are maximum frame rates (frames/second ) that
the endpoint can rec eive video for CIF and QCIF operating
modes. CIF frame rate values are 30fps, 15fps, 10fp s, and 7.4fps.
If the endpoint does not s upport CIF (that is, the vfmt field is
QCIF), the cfps value should be blank.
da_sfg indicates supp ort for H.261 Still Frame Graphics
transfers.
H.CTX, H.CTX+ and SG4 are proprietary vid eo format
capabilities.
SG4_sfg indicates supp ort for SG4 Still Frame Graphics
MISC The restrict field and the 56/64 co mmand mode with a
restrict value indicate that endp oints operate at 56 kbp s per
channel. Endpoints on 56 kb ps conferences must s end one or both 2
indications that they are op erating at 56 kbps b efore they become a
video source in a 56 kb ps conference. If they sig nal that they are
operating at 56 kbp s in a 64 kbps or 384 kbp s conference, they
become an audio-only source, but the MCU continues to send
Selected Communication Mod e (SCM) toward them when possible.
A MISC capability of derestrict and a 56/64 command of
derestrict together indicate that an end point operates at 64 kbp s.
If either is restrict, the conference operates at 56 kb ps. Other field
values include:
dcomp indicates supp ort for WorldWorx PCS data compliance.
mbe indicates supp ort for Multi Byte Extension. MBE exchanges
passwords, terminal names, and other special cap abilities, such
as, WorldWorx PCS specific features support.
cic (Chair Indicate Capability) indicates chair control capability.
