busyout data-module
This command puts the sp ecified data mod ule in a maintenance busy state , even
uninstalled data modules. No p eriodic or sch eduled tests is perfor med on the
busied out data mod ule or data channel until it is released and no call
processing ca n be executed on the d ata modules or over the data c hannels.
Warning alarms are generated (error typ e 18) on each maintenance ob ject
busied out, so that INADS can acc ess the state of the object s. The release data
module command returns the spec ified data mod ule (or data channel) to
operation.
On a system with the duplication option, a busyout of a Network Control Data
Channel (DATA-CHL) or a Processor Interface Port Data Channels (PI-PT) are
preserved across SPE interchanges. The data ch annel extension must be
released before the data c hannel can be broug ht back into servic e.
