Several alarms may be logged against a single maintenanc e object, each alarm representing a different prob lem. Even if there are multiple entries in the alarm log for a single objec t, the test alarms command only tests eac h physical objec t once.

Command is validated and then a
scheduling form displays to

command. The command is then
placed in the command q ueue and
is executed at the specified time.
The information displayed by the
command is sent to the system
printer instead of the screen.4

option is not specified, the screen does not refresh onc e filled, and testing stops until the user
presses PAGE (continue) or CANCEL (halts testing).
2 Press CANCEL to abort the command, ENTER to test the currently displayed alarm, NEXT ALARM (function
key) to move to the next alarm, and PREV ALARM (function key) to move to the previous alarm without testing
the currently displayed alarm. If this option is entered , then the NEXT ALARM (function key) or PREV ALARM
(function key) can be pressed at any time during the command, even d uring test results. If NEXT ALARM or
PREV ALARM is pressed during a test, the test is aborted, testing of the current alarm stops, and the next or
previous alarm displays. If the first alarm is d isplayed and PREV ALARM is pressed, then the last alarm is
displayed. If the last alarm is currently disp layed and the NEXT ALARM is requested, then the first alarm
displays. The only way to terminate this command is to p ress CANCEL.

long

clear
option forces a clear of all alarms if no errors are encountered during testing. The
short clear
option only
clears alarms pertinent to tests in the short sequence. SEE WARN INGS BELOW.
