3-239ATM-TRK (Circuit Emulation Service Circuit Pack)

1. Run test board UUCSS.
o. Error Type 2561: Packet Interface Loop Around Test (598) Failure. The
ATM-TRK circuit pack has failed, the pac ket bus has a minor alarm active,
or the packet bus is out of service.
1. Run test board UUCSS.
p. Error Type 2817, 2818: DSP failure detected along the circ uit path.
1. Run test board UUCSS.
2. Follow the repair procedures su ggested for Test #1293.
q. Error Type 3330: LANHO critical error. The circuit pa ck reports that the
on-board LANHO chip is insane (possibly d ue to a problem in Packet Bus
arbitration, in the transmission line frame, or in the c ircuit pack itself). The
circuit pack c annot talk to the Packet Bus.
If Then
Test 598 fails. Follow the repair procedures suggested for that
test
Test 598 passes. See the PKT-BUS (Packet Bus) maintenance
object, and perform the specified rep air.
There are no errors
against the pack et
bus maintenance
object.
This may be a transient condition. Do nothing
now, but escalate if the error occurs repeatedly.
If Then
Test 598 fails. Follow the repair procedures suggested for that
test
Test 598 passes. See the PKT-BUS (Packet Bus) maintenance
object, and perform the specified rep air.

Error Type Description
2818 One or more DSPs failed. The Aux Data field contains
the ID number of DSP that failed
2817 DSP test failure. The Aux Data field contains the
following information about the failed DSPs:
■X is the number of talker DSPs
■Y is the number of listener DSPs
■Z is the number of echo-cancelling DSPs
