0x23 - MT_IMT (miscellaneous IMT hooks)
This message type is for miscellaneous IMT hooks. The only sub -type currently
available is for a debug button (dbut). The butt on number is provided in the
debug but ton MST message so that more than one button can be ad ministered
(through IMT) to convey different meanings. For example, d epression of button N
could signify the start of the p roblem symptoms, while dep ression of button N + X
could signify the end of the problem symptoms. Note that th e button number
being logged repr esents the position of a button on a particu lar set type, and will
be different depend ing on set type and mod ule type (feature, coverage, d isplay,
and so forth). The mapping of the button number stored i n the IMT_BUT_DE BUG
MST message to a position on the set is not trivial, however, the d ebug buttons
can be administered through TCM, debug butt on filtering enabled throug h TCM
and MST enabled using the ‘enab le mst’ command and the resulta nt messages
sent to MST when each button is dep ressed can be examined for the button data
and noted.
