Notes:
a. Error Type 1: Circuit pack stopp ed functioning or is no t physically
present.
1. Verify that the circuit pack is p resent.
2. If circuit pack i s present, reset the circuit pac k (reset board
UUCSS).
3. If the error persists, replace the c ircuit pack.
b. Error Type 18: The CLAN circuit pack bus ied out.
c. Error Type 217: applies to 10 circ uit packs:
1. Remove the circuit pack(s) ag ainst which the error is logg ed.
d. Error Type 257: Transient communication problem between switc h and
circuit pack; d oes not affect service and c an be ignored.
1. Ignore this error, unless the Control Channel Loop Test (#52) fails.
2. If Test #52 fails, replace the circuit pack .
Repetitive failures of the Control Channel Loop Test indicate circ uit pack
hardware failure.
e. Error Type 513: Circuit pack detec ted and reported hardware failure.
1. Reset the circuit pack (reset board UUCSS).
