Field descriptions
status journal-link
This command displays if the link is up or down. If the link is d own, the system
displays the number of times the switc h tries to initialize the link. A journal printer
documents automatic wak e-up events, emergency ac cess to attendant events,
and housekeeping events whe n the property management sys tem is not
functional. A journal printer may also generate reports for automatic wake-up
events and emergency ac cess events at a sched uled time. If system
configuration includ es two printers, one is for housekeep ing events only and the
other is for automatic wake-up events an d emergency ac cess events.
Port (cabinet/carrier/slot/c ircuit) of the ISDN-PRI B-channel.
Bit Error Rate The measured bit error count b ased on the comparison b etween
sent and received b it patterns. (Number d isplays in scientific
notation)
Number of Bits Number of bits generated . (Number displays i n scientific notation)
Block error Rate The measured block error c ount based on the comp arison
between sent and received bit patterns. (Number displays in
scientific notation).
Number of Blocks Number of blocks g enerated. (Number d isplays in scientific
notation)
Start Time Test call start time. (dd/hh:mm).
Duration Specified Specified run time for the test c all. (1-120 minutes, or blank =
default of 10 seconds).
Duration of Test Run time for the test call, listed in minutes. “b lank” = a default time.
Reason of Termination Reason that the test call terminates: “finished ,” “cance led,”
“overflow,” “no b its,” “transmission,” “internal fail,” “d ata corrupt,”
“call drop ped,” “c all rejected,” and “in prog ress.” “finished” = the
test finishes in the specified time. “canceled ” = the test c all
cancels with the clear isdn-testcall c ommand. “overflow” = the
transmitted bits overflow bu ffer allocation. “no bits” = no bits are
received bec ause the ISDN-PRI test call circuit connec tion is bad.
“transmission” = a data transmission interrupts, p robably from a
power hit. “call d ropped” = the call drop s due to an abnormal
termination, or inability to cut-throug h to the other side. “c all
rejected” = the originating c all is not set up prope rly. “internal fail”
= an internal error on the Maintenance/ Test circuit pack. “ in
progress” = the test is still running; “d ata corrupt” = any other error
condition.
