g. The destination endpoint is not available. Check the status of the
destination endpoint (us ing status access-endpoint or status
data-module) and verify that the endpoint is not busy or otherwise
unavailable (for example, out-of-ser vice). The status for the destination
endpoint is not available o n the switch where this error is logg ed.
h. This switch sent an ISDN message to another switch, which eit her did not
respond (18) or did not respond within the allotted ti me (102). This could
be due to link failure or cong estion or outage at the other switc h.
i. The address of the destination endp oint has changed . Verify that the new
address is correct and change the Ad ministered Connection ac cordingly.
The destination endpoint is not ad ministered on the switch log ging this
error.
j. Indicate that a resource (for examp le, a circuit or bearer c apability)
required by the admin istered cConnection is not p resently available.
k. A network failure (38) or temporary failure (41) has occ urred. Error Log
entries for other maintenance objec ts (for example, DS1-BD or ISDN-LNK)
may indicate a local problem.
l. A request to use a network service has b een denied bec ause the service
has not been purchased . Check the routing patter n used by this
Administered Connection and verify that the service type i s correct. If the
service type app ears correct, chec k with the customer or network p rovider
or both to determine what servic es have been purchased by the customer.
m. Indicate that outgoing calls may be barred on the originating switc h (52)
or that incoming calls may b e barred on the des tination switch (54). To
restore an administered connec tion failure, issue the status administered
connection command for current ad ministered connec tion state (observe
the retry count). If the administered c onnection state is "failed," then verify
and correct the Ad ministered Connection Adm inistration Form.
n. The requested bearer capab ility (65), channel type (66), or fac ility (69) is
not implemented or is unknown to the network. Ch eck the address of the
destination endpoint and the routing pattern used by this Administered
Connection, and verify that they are c orrect and available.
o. These errors indicate that an ISDN protocol error has occ urred.
p. The destination endpoint (or some intermediate facility) is not c ompatible
with the originating endp oint. Check the BCC fields of the routing pattern
used by this Administered Connection. Also, chec k if the originating and
destination endpoints are c ompatible (for examp le, the originating ac cess
endpoint is voice-g rade data, and the destination acc ess endpoint is 64k
data).
