The following example shows the output from the list measu rements ethernet
command.
Field descriptions
list measurements clan ppp
This command provides a 24-ho ur history of important pac ket-level statistics
from which you can infer some LAN p erformance charac teristics. For example,
■Invalid frames—the number of frames that are misalig ned
■CHAP failures—Challenge Handshake Authentication Protoco l—the
number of attempts for ppp authentication that failed
Date The date that the data was collec ted.
Time The current 15-minute interval in which the action was performed
CRC Check The error count for CRC errors
Total The total value of the counter on the board
NOTE:
The counter value can be up to 11 digits long b ecause of the
32-bit counter on the board . After the occurrenc e of an “N/A,”
the delta equals the total. Busyout or relea se of a board or a
port, the reset board command , and reseating the b oard all
clear the firmware counters.
Delta The difference between the cur rent and the previous sampl e
Collision Count The error count for collisions on the ethernet
