The Compact Modular Cabinet (CMC) AC Power Supply (650A) supports one
alarm lead that indica tes the state of both the power and fan. With multiple
cabinets, alarm leads from each cabinet are tied into a single lead. The CMC
uses variable speed fans to reduce noise. The CMC pow er unit contains Thermal
Speed Control and an alarm c ircuit. A variable speed fan has a 3-pin connec tor
for the variable input power fo r speed control and its alarm circuitry.
Table 3-139 shows the LED and alarm conditions.

Fan and Filter Removal/Replacement

1. Remove the left door.
2. Remove the fan/filter access panel. See Fig ure 3-15.
