Summary report field descriptions

mark port
This command marks faulty ports as d efective to prevent their use in other
administrative operations (for examp le, adding a d ata-module or station). Ports
on any type of circuit p ack may be marked exc ept for installed circuit p acks that
are administered automatically (for example, Tone Detector, Tone Generator,
Announcement, Speech Synthesizer, Call Classifier and Mainte nance/Test circuit
packs). If the port c an be administered manually, and it is unassi gned, the port is
marked as faulty. The clear port command reactivates the port. The list
marked-ports command displays marked ports in list format. All marked port
information is saved as part o f translations.
Trk Grp Num The trunk group number whic h is being summarized. Only
outgoing or two-way analog trunks will be listed.
Num Of Trks The total number of members per trunk group.
Last Test Date The date of the oldest measurement in the trunk g roup.
Last Test Time The time of the oldest measurement in the trunk group .
Trunks Passed
Transm Test The number of trunks that have passed the t runk transmission
tests.
Trunks Failed
Marginal Threshld The number of trunks that failed a marginal th reshold, but not an
unacceptab le threshold accord ing to the threshold values defi ned
on the trunk group form.
Trunks Failed
Unaccept Threshld This is taken from the unacceptab le threshold administered on the
Trunk g roup form .
Trks In-Use The number of trunks that were in-use at the time of testing.
Trks Not Test The number of trunks that were not tested due to e rror conditions.
Busied Out Trunks The number of trunks that were busied out at the time. This could
be due to hardware p roblems, incorrect thres hold values, etc.
