test customer-alarm

This command performs hard ware diagnostic tests on the leads of the Processor

and EPN maintenance circuit p acks, used for customer-p rovided alarms b y

closing the app ropriate relay for 1 minute. Failure is verified by c hecking the

customer alarm attached to the specified c ircuit pack.

Defaults

The default cabinet is cab inet 1, and the default carri er is “a.” The default for the

remaining parameter is a repea t of 1.

sequence (short or long) to repeat
until the alarm (if any) is cleared or
a single test in the sequence fails.1
Command is validated and then a
scheduling form disp lays to
schedule execution of the
command. The command is then
placed in the command q ueue and
is executed at the specified time.
The information displayed by the
command is sent to the system
printer instead of the screen.2

1 If no alarms are registered against the maintenanc e object then the test sequence is run only onc e. The
long clear
option forces a clear of all alarms if no errors are enc ountered during testing. The
short clear
option only clears
alarms pertinent to tests in the short sequence.
