Multicast

The multicast commands are supported by Dell Networking operating system (OS) on all S6000 platform. This chapter contains the following sections:

The following section contains the IPv4 multicast commands.

clear ip mroute

Clear learned multicast routes on the multicast forwarding table. To clear the protocol-independent multicast (PIM) tree information base, use the clear ip pim tib command.

clear ip mroute [vrf vrf-name] {group-address[source-address] * snooping}

vrf vrf-name

(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of

 

the VRF to configure this setting on that VRF.

 

NOTE: Applies to specific VRF if input is provided, else

 

applies to Default VRF.

group-address

Enter the multicast group address and source address (if

[source-

desired), in dotted decimal format, to clear information on a

Enter * to clear all multicast routes.

snooping

Enter the keyword snooping to delete multicast snooping

 

route table entries.
