The password is listed in the configuration file; you can view the password by entering the show running-config ftp command.

Use the ip ftp password command when you use the ftp: parameter in the copy command.

ip ftp username — sets the user name for the FTP sessions.

ip ftp source-interface

Specify an interface’s IP address as the source IP address for FTP connections.

Syntax	ip ftp source-interface interface
	To delete an interface, use the no ip ftp source-interfaceinterface
	command.

Parameters	Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number
interface
	information:
	• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
	TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
	• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
	fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
	• For a Loopback interface, enter the keyword loopback
	then a number from 0 to 16383.
