redistribute bgp

Redistribute routing information from a BGP process.

Syntaxredistribute bgp AS number [level-1 level-1-2 level-2] [metric metric-value] [metric-type {external internal}] [route-map map-name]

To return to the default values, use the no redistribute bgp command with the appropriate parameters.

Parameters

Enter a number that corresponds to the autonomous system

AS number

 

number. The range is from 1 to 65355.

level-1

(OPTIONAL) Routes are independently redistributed into IS-

 

IS Level 1 routes only.

level-1-2

(OPTIONAL) Routes are independently redistributed into IS-

 

IS Level 1 and Level 2 routes.

level-2

(OPTIONAL) Routes are independently redistributed into IS-

 

IS as Level 2 routes only. This setting is the default.

metric metric-

(OPTIONAL) The value used for the redistributed route. Use a

value

metric value that is consistent with the destination protocol.

 

The range is from 0 to 16777215. The default is 0.

metric-type

(OPTIONAL) The external link type associated with the

{external

default route advertised into a routing domain. The two

internal}

options are:

internal

route-map

map-nameis an identifier for a configured route map. The

map-name

route map filters imported routes from the source routing

 

protocol to the current routing protocol.

If you do not specify a map-name, all routes are redistributed. If you specify a keyword, but fail to list route map tags, no routes are imported.
