Usage

This command enables the IGMP switch to send General Queries periodically. This

behavior is useful when there is no multicast router present in the VLAN because

 

the multicast traffic is not routed. Assign an IP address to the VLAN interface for the

 

switch to act as a querier for this VLAN.

show ip igmp snooping groups

Display snooping related information for all the IGMP groups, interface or one group of one interface.

show ip igmp snooping groups [group-address [detail] detail

interface [group-address [detail]]]

snooping

Enter the keyword snooping to display snooping related

 

information.

group-address

(OPTIONAL) Enter the group address in dotted decimal

 

format to view information on that group only.

interface

(OPTIONAL) Enter the interface type and slot/port

 

information:

 

• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword

 

TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.

 

• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword

 

fortyGigE then the slot/port information.

 

• For a Loopback interface, enter the keyword loopback

 

then a number from 0 to 16383.

 

• For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-

 

channel then a number.

 

• For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword vlan then a

 

number from 1 to 4094.

detail

(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword detail to display the

 

IGMPv3 source information.
