Configure the amount of time the interface waits in the Listening State and the Learning State before transitioning to the Forwarding State.

Syntax

Parameters

forward-delay seconds

To return to the default setting, use the no forward-delaycommand.

seconds

Enter the number of seconds that Dell Networking OS waits

 

before transitioning RSTP to the forwarding state. The range

 

is from 4 to 30. The default is 15 seconds.
