distance ospf [external dist3] [inter-area dist2] [intra-area

dist1]

To delete these settings, use the no distance ospf command.

external dist3 (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword external then a number to specify a distance for external type 5 and 7 routes. The range is from 1 to 255. The default is 110.

inter-areadist2 (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords inter-areathen a number to specify a distance metric for routes between areas. The range is from 1 to 255. The default is 110.

intra-areadist1 (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords intra-areathen a number to specify a distance metric for all routes within an area. The range is from 1 to 255. The default is 110.

•external dist3 = 110

•inter-area dist2 = 110

•intra-area dist1 = 110
