Set the number of times an AS number can occur in the AS path.

Syntax neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} allowas-in number
To return to the default value, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-
group-name} allowas-in command.
Parameters ip-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted
decimal format.
peer-group-
name
Enter the name of the peer group to set the advertisement
interval for all routers in the peer group.
number Enter a number of times to allow this neighbor ID to use the
AS path. The range is from 1 to 10.
Defaults Not configured.

Usage
Information You cannot set this configuration for a peer that is associated with a peer group.
Similarly, you cannot associate a peer to a peer group if that peer is already
configured with these settings.
