Use the show interfaces command for details on a specific interface.

In the output of the show interfaces managementEthernet slot/port command, the value displayed for the bytes field under the Input Statistics section is 4 bytes less for each packet that is received (inbound) by the interface. For example, if 1000 packets, with each packet being 64 bytes in size, arrive at the interface, the bytes count is displayed as 6000. The lower value for the byte statistical counter is because of 4 bytes being discarded for each packet from the computation.
