To specify an IP address as the next hop, configure a filter.

Related Commands

If you configure the set next-hopcommand, its configuration takes precedence over the neighbor next-hop-selfcommand in the ROUTER BGP mode.

If you configure the set next-hopcommand with the interface’s IP address (either Loopback or physical), the software declares the route unreachable.

match ip next-hop — redistributes routes that match the next-hop IP address.
