ip ospf retransmit-interval

Set the retransmission time between lost link state advertisements (LSAs) for adjacencies belonging to the interface.

ip ospf retransmit-interval seconds

To return to the default values, use the no ip ospf retransmit-intervalcommand.

seconds

Enter the number of seconds as the interval between

 

retransmission. The range is from 1 to 3600. The default is 5

 

seconds.

 

This interval must be greater than the expected round-trip

 

time for a packet to travel between two routers.

Set the time interval to a number large enough to prevent unnecessary retransmissions. For example, the interval must be larger for interfaces connected to virtual links.
