Usage
Information The following describes the show mac-address-table command shown in the
following example.
Column Heading Description
VlanId Displays the VLAN ID number.
Mac Address Displays the MAC address in nn:nn:nn:nn:nn:nn format.
Type Lists whether the MAC address was manually configured
(Static), learned (Dynamic), or associated with a specific port
(Sticky). An (N) indicates that the specified MAC address has
been learnt by a neighbor and is synced to the node.
Interface Displays the interface type and slot/port information. The
following abbreviations describe the interface types:
gi — Gigabit Ethernet followed by a slot/port
po — Port Channel followed by a number. Range for
Terascale is from 1 to 255. \
te — 10–Gigabit Ethernet followed by a slot/port.
State Lists if the MAC address is in use (Active) or not in use
(Inactive).
The following describes the show mac-address-table count command shown
in the following example.

Dynamic

Lists the number of dynamically learned MAC addresses.
Static Address... Lists the number of user-defined MAC addresses.
Total MAC... Lists the total number of MAC addresses the switch uses.
