Parameters

router-id: A 32-bit router ID, in IPv4 address format.

Description

Use the router-idcommand to configure the OSPFv3 router ID.

 

Use the undo router-idcommand to remove a configured router ID.

 

Router ID is the unique identification of an OSPF process in an autonomous

 

system. An OSPFv3 process cannot run without a Router ID.

 

Make sure that different processes have different Router IDs.

By configuring different router IDs for different processes, you can run multiple

OSPFv3 processes on a router.

# Configure the Router ID as 10.1.1.3 for OSPFv3 process 1.

all: Specifies all interfaces.

Description Use the silent-interfacecommand to disable the specified interface from sending OSPFv3 packets.
