Syntax encapsulation-limit [ number ]

undo encapsulation-limit

View Tunnel interface view

Parameter number: Number of encapsulations in a tunnel, in the range 1 to 10.

Description Use the encapsulation-limitcommand to configure the maximum number of encapsulations on a tunnel.

Use the undo encapsulation-limitcommand to remove the configuration.

By default, the maximum encapsulation limit is 4.

The encapsulation limit applies to only IPv6 over IPv6 tunnels.

Example # Configure the encapsulation limit on a tunnel to 3.
