Parameter minutes: Specifies timeout time in minutes, in the range 0 to 35791, defaulting to 10 minutes.

seconds: Specifies timeout time in seconds, in the range 0 to 59, defaulting to 0 seconds.

Description Use the idle-timeoutcommand to set the idle-timeout timer. When it expires, the user connection is terminated.

Use the undo idle-timeoutcommand to restore the default.

The default idle-timeout is 10 minutes.

n The system automatically terminates user’s connection if there is no information interaction between the device and the user in timeout time.

Setting idle-timeout to zero disables the timer and the connection is maintained whether it is idle or not.
