For the case where not all links are in the ‘‘Failed Links’’ category, examine
the alarm log and error log f or failures of the following circuit p ack types
and follow the repair proc edures for those circuit p acks before
considering rep lacing the associated Packet Interface circ uit pack:
■Expansion Interface circuit p ack (EXP-INTF)
■Switch Node Interface circ uit pack (SNI-BD)
■Switch Node Clock circuit p ack (SNC-BD)
■Packet Data Line circuit pac ks and ports (PDATA-BD, PDATA-PT)
■ISDN-BRI Line circuit packs, ports, an d stations (BRI-BD,
BRI-PORT, BRI-SET)
■Packet Gateway circuit pac ks and ports (PGATE-BD, PGATE-PT)
■Universal DS1 circuit packs and ports (UDS1-BD, TIE-DS1)
